Just not worth the effort on some of these for this tired old man. Kohls always has sucked at shipping. They were the pioneer in bag shipping of boxes I haven’t ordered from them since the first line of Star Wars and Minnie mouse brick heads retired and I was getting hundred by the bag. they say that Albert Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. He really didn’t say that but they say he did anyway, I would say ordering Lego from Kohl’s and expecting sellable product is insanity.

Exhibit A here: (I have over 100 damaged Kohl's boxes from last year)

Mickey and Minnie in any condition would sell pretty well right now.

Whenever I go over the limit, from forgetting that I was at the limit already, they just cancel the order with an explanation that I went over the limit. This doesn't seem to apply to sale sets. If you are taking a chance, definitely do not add a 1 time use code Insiders reward to that order because you will lose that reward. If I "need" to go over a limit. My wife has an account and I ship it to her business. I also have 2 brothers that will buy legos when I tell them to. Lego exists to sell legos.

(that I've heard of anyway) lolol I got banned for a set they never even shipped. Hidden Side castle kept getting canceled, so when it popped back in stock I kept trying. These were orders of 1 at a time. Got banned, they told me it was because I went over the limit on that set and that the ban is permanent. But I was still welcome to shop in physical stores. Even when presented with those facts, they still wouldn't budge. They were probably upset that they kept shipping promos and canceling the sets I actually wanted to pay for. Who knows at this point. But in the end it seems to be a good thing. I rarely touch anything anywhere near RRP at this point, and promo values have tumbled hard. My buy-in average is much lower than it was before my ban. If there is a promo I believe in, I can swing by the store that's 2 minutes off my normal route home. Edited December 12, 20232 yr by brickvoyeur

With the limits there's only so much I can order by default.
December 12, 20232 yr Since we are off topic already. I am amazed, it must be the sale and both GWP in stock, and Yes I order a Spice Girls for my GF. I have gotten 18 Endor in the past 50 days from Lego online so that just means the set will bomb

With the limits there's only so much I can order by default. It was one of the times when there was a sale, or GWP coming out and their servers kept crashing. I, like everyone else, just kept trying to place orders without much luck and finally got one to go through. Was banned after that and they said I was trying to place to many orders. Even after explaining the situation to them and the fact that the orders didn't actually go through they didn't care and said decision was final. Not sure how they could have even seen all the orders that didn't go through but that's what they claimed.

I (along with many others) got banned 6 years ago and didn't get back in until they had their computer system revision two years later. Got a snarky letter from TLG lecturing me that LEGO was for children, not adult resellers. It even stated that I was banned from their stores. Of course, they couldn't enforce this in the US but I couldn't use a VIP card. As a matter of fact, I lost close to $300 in VIP points at the time. When I called the US CS to plead my case, they flat out told me that I was caught because I used the same email address at both Amazon (as a seller) and ebay. Of course, my next question was "How the hell do you know what email that I use at those sites?" They declined to answer. I think about that whole "LEGO is for children" crap every time that they release another 18+ or $500+ set.

Maybe their tone has changed.

I was just about ready to try an order with the mini castle. I bought 2 at regular price and 3 at the sale price. Was going to try 2 more at this price with the castle promo. Might be a good idea to not include the castle promo.

I would too at 70% 😀 I don't remember seeing that set at any Costco I've been too however. Just seen some Minecraft, Friends, City and maybe a little HP. Will probably start going to different Costcos but sometimes these sets are regional Edited December 13, 20232 yr by gmpirate
