Stopped in to local Walmart and they were doing a big restocking and doing additional markdowns throughout the department.  Some toys (action figures) were further marked down after being initially marked down 2 days ago.  It was weird.

No rocking deals for Lego, picked up a couple Encanto Houses for $34.  But lots of empty shelves with fresh stickers like they plan on having more inventory.  The whole thing seems a bit assbackwards.

Ymmv $169 boutique hotel 10297 Walmart in store clearance multiple stores around here.  Up to 7 at two stores more in stock according to brickseeek.  Also N64 thingee is $169 in store. Many other smaller sets being yellow tag clearance 25-30% in fairly minty condition.

Walmart has BTTF 10300 back in stock for $170 and Rakuten 10% is still on.

Are you adjusting 2 or 50 sets?

Generally we say not to draw attention but honestly I'm not sure anyone has been banned for a price adjustment.  They have just been limited the amount of adjustments they are willing to do.  Some people just speculate it happened as a consequence down the road.

When it comes to anything you're buying to resell it's not worth it no matter whether it's lego or any other collectible....Happens to everyone....Whether it's lego or anything else (I sell other items beside lego like a lot of you) you're going to buy something which you think was a great deal and then a week later you find it cheaper......Just suck it up and move on

Best to do it on non collectible big ticket items such as tv's, refrigerators, etc

couple years back someone on fbm had quidditches for sale for $30. Not one or 2 but hundreds. 

I bought them all.

I asked him after the deal was done how he got so many - he said he price matched. Don't remember exactly  his methodology at this point but at the time it made sense to me.

So i dont think scale is an issue. obviously dont give 1 rep 100 orders to PM.
