All the 2021 LEGO Advent Calendars except HP are on sale for 20% on Amazon right now ($24 or $32 depending on RRP). Perhaps better deals to come depending on the quantity of these produced, but this price is definitely good enough for me to grab a Marvel and SW for myself just in case.

My memory says that just slap a label on the box and ship it, but a buddy said he remembers they had excellent packaging.

My experiences are sometimes they fulfill the order in individual stores.  Sometimes they fulfill from a warehouse.  You could order 10 small sets, get 8 different packages.  Half in poly mailers, half in boxes.  A lot of folks have said ship to store yields better results.

I've had mixed experiences - The first order I placed for pickup was worse than a Zavvi pancake. The replacement they shipped to my house was wrapped in plastic but nothing to protect the Lego box. Still too damaged to worth keeping. Most recently, though, the Lego box was protected with air pillows inside a regular shipping box; still not perfect but certainly acceptable.

I did almost a dozen orders and all of them were failures.  I no longer order for shipping as I ended up having to return everything ordered.

Long version:  I apologize if this is not the right place for this, but may help others gauge what to do.  I'm currently on the phone with Target who have agreed to price match.  It's been 29 minutes already and so far they have placed the order for full amount ($31.99 + $5.99 shipping + tax) and are working to "refund" me the difference to match Best Buy.  I can see that they have successfully updated my order in order history to $23.99, but still have two problems:  1)  Other than my order now showing the price match, my method of payment still shows full price.  She does not know if/how I see/get my money back from the price adjustment.  2) I have been charged tax on $38 ($31.99 + $5.99 shipping) which is $1 more than what it should be on $23.99 price.  I know it's only a dollar, but it's still money lost and the principle of how they can get away with charging me tax on shipping fees too.  I'm still hold while she checks her "resources" to figure out how this all works out.  She's now saying I will get a refund in 1 - 2 business days and is transferring me to "tier 2 support" for the tax issue.

I paid with rc, took me 5 mins online chatting and that was it. adjustment automatically reflected in the final charge. why don't you try online chat?

as for their math, yeah, sometimes it's off but not a lot, to me I won't spend 30 mins just for chasing $1 off.
