Never saw that.  Cheapest price was $130 by secondary seller.  Amazon price was $147.  I checked about 8 min after above link was posted.

Never saw that.  Cheapest price was $130 by secondary seller.  Amazon price was $147.  I checked about 8 min after above link was posted.

8 minutes is a long time for this set to be in stock. Huge upside come October - December and beyond retirement.

Seems that Amazon has raised most LEGO limits to 20 in the past couple weeks -- a few are still limit 3.  If you see a number that is not 20 or 3, it's likely the available quantity remaining as far as the front-end server has been updated (usually lags the back-end servers that have the true remaining qty and "fix" any discrepancy when you click "add to cart").

I know I was able to get an order of 20 in a week ago when they were available for a brief window.

Considering how they are being hoarded, for a "huge" return, you are probably looking well past this Q4. And if the massive demand by resellers induces lego to make more, it may not even reach the ceiling until a few years post retirement.

I'm seeing the same ($147 with no Amazon option).  I expect the two of you accessed two different front-end servers and one thought Amazon still had it, but the other was already updated with the zero remaining inventory.  It can take many minutes sometimes for the front-end to catch up.

If it is still showing $99/20 for some, I'd like to know

Take a look at the "Sold by" line.  That's not Amazon, that's why.

I was able to find it by looking at the other sellers, and seeing Amazon as a seller, and priced at $99.99.  (Yes, I did see the $147 price, same as you, before I clicked the New & Used from link).

I clicked on that also.  Cheapest is $130 + shipping.  Next cheapest is the $147 for the above pic.

I did find a second listing for the Gingerbread house with a qty 20 but it's price is $149.  

I don't see any sold by Amazon.  At this point I guess it's moot.

That was a quick blip.  I saw they had some for early May shipment but it was gone before I could check how many they had in stock

Preorders for carnage are closed / gone on both Lego and Target fyi

Good rule of thumb.  If someone posts that something is available for 99.99 and you can't get it at that price.  That means it's gone.  I got 5 of them from the other sellers option.  It was obvoius.  It was easy.  There were no tricks.  You aren't missing it.  If it's gone it's gone.
