Do you think there is more stock coming down the pike? I always suspected this would be the case due to covid production delays. But given the 'sold out' status on LEGO Shop at Home I figured the production run was over... ITs still showing as in stock, which makes me wonder. Last time this happened it ran out almost instantaneously.

We'll probably be getting a new Slave-1 soon anyway, especially with next year's Book of Boba Fett on Disney +.

January 14, 20214 yr Might be a good idea to combine a slave one with a Harry Potter purchase to double dip on the promos. If the Star Wars set gets canceled, you'll still get both promos.

We shall see I'm inclined to agree that it is due to lagging production, I mean we've all seen what the production delays have done to stock this year. Especially given the rumored $50 Slave i (though yes, it is only rumor) I doubt they will officially extend production. TIme will tell I guess. I'm just hopeful to get at least one of these for my personal collection since I sold all my stock before Christmas!

Because, as evident right here in this thread, being retired in Europe does not mean that the set isn't still active here in the US (and the rest of North America.) One would think that you wouldn't have to point that out, especially in a USA Sale thread. Edited January 14, 20214 yr by raindog

I can't think of an example where Lego retired a product in EU and kept producing it for the US for another year (which is what people seem to be worried about). I was under the impression we're talking about a month or two. If there are examples, I apologize for my comment.

I, and I believe most of us, are talking about the here and now, whether these new influxes of LEGO Shop at Home inventories are real or a glitch and how long they will last. Anything beyond that should, as pointed out above, be carried to the Retirement thread. Edited January 14, 20214 yr by raindog
