I was going to ask if people are purchasing sets like this at MSRP. I guess that answers it ROFL.

I am because it's on the retiring list, qualified for the $10 gift card, had a 10% discounted gift card to pay for it, and am hoping my 3 store pickup orders will qualify me for the $20 Target Circle bonus offer.

Yeah, I'm just wary of Lego dropping a shipload of sets on us early January and seeing 20-30% discounts. The volume has been so high this year I can't imagine it mattering much i guess.

Yes, lots of surprises lately. This is a unique set and I think it will do well post retirement. It has been very hard to find it for the past 3-4 months.

T-Rex vs dino-mech back in stock at Target.

Quidditch back too. their in stock status is in sync it seems

Also, just FYI, if you set in-stock alerts via the app I've been able to nab most of these OOS sets. Most notably the 75243 Slave I. Redcard + $10 GC on that one. Definitely not as good a deal as BF and past few weeks, but still a good chance to nab one if you missed out especially as it will retire soon.

Club Jouet has the Raptor Rampage at 250 CAD or 195 USD. Free shipping. They are based in Quebec but ship to USA.

Do you have to pay import taxes?

No. Just the Quebec Taxes, which admittedly are high. Works out to 235USD all in.

Mmm. I put in US and the QC taxes went away. With shipping about $215. But I'm worried about US Customs. I never know what is covered and what isn't

The rules are more nuanced than this, but that's less than $800. Nothing to worry about.
