B&N's website had been completely trashed for me all day yesterday. Extremely mis-formatted and demanding I update internet explorer. [emoji1787] It was basically unusable, and I couldn't get any information out of it.
Went to my local B&N last night, just in case. 8 MBoMs right on the shelf, but in a weird spot. Very near the Lego section, but not *in* the Lego section. Employees didn't so much as bat an eye when I bought them all.
Just saying, it's worth checking. And yes, the price is already dropping, on eBay at least. Expect supply to increase significantly over the course of the weekend.

The Monster Book of Monsters is one of those deals where it's more effective to get out from behind the computer to make the most of. I was able to find 4 at my local store, and about 4 more in the area. Looks like the local horde took care of the rest.

When I first listed mine on Bricklink yesterday, I was only 1 of 5 US sellers. Now there's whole lot more. But, I think the entire run is limited enough that the price will shoot up again once stock is reduced.

Speaking of crazy Walmart deals, I was seeing Elsa Castle at $7 and some large city set for $2.50... but only available in ONE random store. Called the one that was in MA and they said it was not actually in stock. Bummer.

LEGOLAND CA back in stock with DIY minifig, at $199 this time. I am sorely tempted but will refrain.... ahh, who am I kidding. Just bought it.

i've been ordering multiple orders of 2x per day for instore pickup always waiting for the all clear that previous order is ready to pickup before placing an order for another 2.  not having an issue though with multiple stores at one store waiting to be picked up.  picked up the first tranche of 5 orders (10x) .  i have 50x waiting for me at 6 stores.  obviously there is no apparent banning of instore orders for pickup given the number i have outstanding at the moment.

What's the market for last year's calendars come November? I've never picked them up, figuring they trade at a discount to the new ones, making it hard to make a decent profit even at 50% off?
