Maybe it's just my age (60) but there comes a time in a man's life that you aren't willing to jump through all the hoops.  If B&N wants to sell to me, fine.  If they want to play their silly little games then they can kiss my fat ass.  There is too much other low-hanging fruit out there.

Perhaps they are looking out for their customers that actually help keep them in business rather than resellers that just pillage what they have on sale.

I've never ordered this promo. I don't think I've even purchased Lego from B&N before. If I have, it's been years. For all intents and purposes, I'm the average holiday shopper they're trying to bring in with this kind of offer.

I placed an order and, to avoid missing out, paid for the promo expecting for customer support to be able to remove it. My order hasn't been cancelled but I waited half an hour for chat and they tell me I didn't pass their verification process. I'm back in one of their queues - this time on the phone waiting to talk to the authentication team lol.

I could be wrong but I think the stand alone sales price was an error and they are cancelling orders without the corresponding $75 purchase

Not to keep the thread to out of topic, but my standalone order went through and has already shipped. If it was an error, they are honoring the ones that got placed before they removed the link.

Target gift card sale is live. 10% off Target gift cards. Offer is only good for 1 purchase, maximum of $500 in gift cards ($50 off).

It is a Target Circle offer this year unlike previous years. Meaning you only get 1 Target Circle gift card coupon per Circle account.

Does this mean I can’t buy two separate gift cards in one transaction?

Also, if you have a Discover CC, 5% cash back bonus should apply as long as the gift cards are purchased online.

Yes, you can buy 2x $250 gift cards or 5x $100 or 1x $500, etc... just one transaction with a maximum amount of $500.

Was in B&N yesterday.  Didn't see Book of Monsters but they had several LEGO sets 30% off in-store.  Very vague - didn't state which sets , just had about four plaques in front of sets like Marvel War Machine Mech and Trolls Balloon.  I didn't' have my phone with me so couldn't take a pic.  Nothing impressed me but ymmv.

Just came back from mine. They got in 8 yesterday. Still in the back. They were willing give me 4. Didn't push it.

If every BN got 8-10, that significantly increases supply. Glad I sold my first one already.

So did online inventory show that? Mine shows none, if there is a mismatch wondering if I need to visit store to find out

When I was on the phone with Barnes and Noble to try and order some they checked my area and said that no stores within 100 miles had them in and dont think they will have them in store.

It shows now. Didn't show first thing this morning. Not sure when the system updates.

none in stock 100 miles from me.

B&N's website had been completely trashed for me all day yesterday. Extremely mis-formatted and demanding I update internet explorer. 🤣 It was basically unusable, and I couldn't get any information out of it.

Went to my local B&N last night, just in case. 8 MBoMs right on the shelf, but in a weird spot. Very near the Lego section, but not *in* the Lego section. Employees didn't so much as bat an eye when I bought them all.

Just saying, it's worth checking. And yes, the price is already dropping, on eBay at least. Expect supply to increase significantly over the course of the weekend.

Amazon matched Target

This is an instance of Amazon's algorithm working in our favor.

That is targets price, but you can't actually buy it due to some error on their website, it's been like that all week.

It is actually out of stock at target, but their website is not reflecting that.

However, Amazon tracker pulls the price from target as in stock, even though it's not.

In my experience it will be any leftover TLM2, Unikitty, Overwatch sets.

overwatch is a win. Bought some for $13 and sold for $60 within a month.

The first store I was in today (same as yesterday), there are no blue stickers on any sets.  Second store I was in today had blue stickers on the 30% off sets.  It looks like these sets are 30% off online at B&N now as well.
