You guys can laugh at me for asking this, but are those minifigure parts in that deal just Legoland BAM leftovers that have been touched and messed with by multiple snot-nosed kids, or are they factory fresh/untouched parts?  Did they arrive in sealed bags?

I had the EXACT same concern.  Based on my experience, this is a safe buy.  They do not look like they made it into a public bin.  I don't see signs of being sifted and sorted through.

I bought these a few times earlier I the year, they were good. Duplicates, but a good value. Seemed like they were from the back room, not the snot and piss covered front room.

I just got one of these.  Not a bad deal (I bought quite a few things, so the shipping sting wasn't too bad).

Received 12 unique heads, 13 w/12 unique torsos, 11 unique legs, 11 unique hair/hat pieces and 12 unique accessories.  Also, around 30 2x4 bricks of basic colors.  I was happy.  Here’s a pic:

I bought two on the gamble regarding this statement "Each kit will include exclusive torsos from LEGOLAND and San Diego Comic Con, plus super hero capes from Comic Con!"

I've never been to a comic con. I'm hoping they have special build a minifig stations these were intended for. I did get one of these legoland minifig assortments a few months ago.  I was happy with it but you're getting like 12-15 different torsos out of the 102 included. Don't expect a mega assortment.

So I can confirm that the white lab coat torsos, with the red, blue or light green undershirt, were the Comic Con exclusives last year (2019).

At the time they were fetching a decent amount for minifig torsos. I don’t know what they are going for now, or how to even look them up on Bricklink.
