I asked the manager when I walked in and she said she would gladly give a GC for any set, as long as I didnt buy more than 2 of any set.   Got Toads Mario set, Privet Drive and Rens Shuttles at $55.99,  + Red Card Discount, then a $10 GC with each, as well as several $52-$54 of the smaller Mario sets marked 20% off already.  It never hurts to ask as some are happy to sell them to you

Not sure if this is the same promo, but when I opened the app it gave me $10 off by making my Amex the default card.

The 501st is the most prominently featured group of clones from the tv show clone wars and up until now it has been very difficult to acquire them. So everyone was really excited by the set and their opportunity to finally get them.

I know this is the deals forum, but for those purchasing future deals from Harrod's, here is the scoop.

Harrod's used to have unlimited purchases, you could buy in any quantity you like. Then about a month ago they changed it to a limit of  four of each item. Then this past week they set the limit at two per item. They are doing this for the exact reason you are thinking.

BTW, they have been known to suspend accounts if these limits are violated. Don''t ask me how I know.:(

I've ordered 3 times... $1,100...$1,500...$1,900.  Never an issue.  Filled without question, packaged amazingly well and in really big strong boxes.  No issues.
