I apologize if this doesn't belong here, but its a question related to the current Target Daily Deal ($10 GC with $50 Lego purch). I cant see where else to ask this. I placed 2 separate orders on different days and earned my 2 GCs. However when I looked at my bank today I see 2 completed charges for the orders and 2 completed charges for 10.00 each being deducted. So they charged me for the "Free" GCs? That's what it looks like. Anyone else experience this?

The value of the gift card is deducted from your order total. That way if you were to return all your items, you would be refunded your order minus the value of the GC. It's just the weird way their accounting is setup.

I screwed up.  It was letting me buy another one and I wanted to pick up a different set to order with it since my first one came in a bubble mailer, beat to crap.  While I was snatching another set, it sold out again.

Same Bag shipping for me too; incredibly disappointing.  My box was slightly bent.  I know it is a small consolation, but I called Amazon and they gave me 20% refund.

target has put a bunch of sets on sale, some of which still have gc deal enabled, but can put gc obtained last week to obtain significant discounts on other sets that are now on sale.

i will be headed out to a store later this morning as the online sale prices for sets like ducati are showing up instore as well on the tracker.  the last few days, all sets that i saw in store have been getting the $10 gc with $50 purchase.  so ducati for $45 out of pocket cost, or $35 if you have a spare gc to throw into the mix. 

i have been dialing up my target orders as the week went on and yesterday i placed 11 gift card sale orders without issue.

Ducati shouldn’t be part of the $10 gc, even in store. It’s tagged for sale and NOT the giftcard promotion, so YMMV on that

It’s not ANY Lego, it’s select Lego that have been tagged (but there are a lot of them). You simply get handed a giftcard if you are at register, OR if you are self checkout you will grab one, and scan it yourself to load it with $10

Either way.... you walk away with a $10 gc and if you want to spend it you’d need to loop back around and make another purchase
