Includes free standard shipping (14-15 days.) Didn't this code include free expedited shipping last time it was available? I remember receiving a set in about four days that looked like it had been run over by a tank.

Could be, I’ve never had issue with damage considering it was coming from overseas.  I guess we will see about this round...

I don't think the phrasing really matters.  I've received around 20 orders from them, under the regular $4.99 shipping, free shipping, and free expedited shipping, and they've all taken about 4 days if the product was in stock (I live in VA).

Based on prior comments, damages hit or miss have varied.  Personally, my experience has been 50/50 but I’ve only been ordering for personal so not much of an issue as long as no broken bricks.  For resellers I’d say it’s a roll of the dice

Totally agree.  I've had some double-boxed, wonderful sets (the Land Rover was one), and some that were pretty banged up.  I price a damage expectation into what I order from there.

This is a roll of the dice that's not worth for me.  Currently have about $4k in limbo due to damaged sets.  Have been going back a forth as their return process is tedious.

I guess that I've been very lucky.  At least 12-14 LEGO orders from Zavvi with nary an issue.  Non LEGO, I'm not so lucky.  I ordered a Hasbro Mace Windu lightsaber from them that turned out to have a bad speaker.  I started a return and they called and asked me how much I thought that it would cost to send it back to them.  I was so stunned that I decided to fix it myself instead of dealing with that kind of unprofessionalism.

I hope not. I wonder if the Lego rep is correct that these will be readily available. If Lego floods the market with them, a lot of the sellers on Ebay selling them as preorder for over $200.00 are gonna have a lot of ticked off buyers & returns.

People were (are) finding it at 50% off during Wal-Mart clearance, but for most of us, that's not available. I think this price is the cheapest, readily available, price I've seen.

It's only a better deal if you don't have sales tax in your state since Costco does not do tax exempt transactions on their website.

You should ask this in the "Deal or No Deal" or "What LEGO set to buy/sell" threads instead of in the Daily Deals thread. It is the lowest available price online outside of B&M clearance.
