Here's a good comparison with less pieces and a far less interesting design: https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Darth-Vader-Celebration-Exclusive/dp/B07QZHP92B

The Frigate is amazing and will easily surpass $200 in time.

Impossible to know. We have no idea how many frigates were made. Easy availability on Amazon doesnt portend well. I dont think Vader was so readily available. Whos to say there arent tons more being sent to walmart and target and SAH?

The image says "limited" and Comic Con. Because of Covid there was no Comic Con.

Toads limited too

as is WW vs Cheeta

both Comic Con as well.

Limited can be any amount technically.......if they werent making more of these guys, why is it not available until 11/15 as opposed to the other sets? Seems to me like theyve been busy cranking these out of the factories......

with 77906 being walmart "exclusive", 77907 being target, I think this time it may be Amazon's turn.

still we don't know how "exclusive" this set is going to be, we shall see in the coming days.

The words "exclusive" or "limited" start to make me feel nervous now...

I think a massive difference in Frigate vs WonderWoman & Toad is if the comic con badge is on the box like leaked photos. That to me makes this set a clear winner in terms of investment.

A badge means nothing, it is all about scarcity. Based on TLG's recent move on Saturn V and Ship in a bottle, I would be cautious on this one. All they need to do is just remove the comic-con badge and put a new number on the box, then here comes a new tiny cash cow!

the more apt comparison is the Bespin Duel. It is speculated that LEGO can and has added manufacturing runs....and apparently only really limited by it manufacturing schedule/plan. ONly hope is for LEGO to be too busy manufacturing another cash cow (cough Hogwarts great hall) to be focused on these...QFLL in the brief windows. Days of sitting on 10 units or a pallet waiting for the "sure thing" post EOL windfall are gone.

This is the wrong thread for this, but I don't think Lego added runs on Bespin. They were all produced 24-28th week of 2020 (June-July) and weren't released until August. Even the late shipping ones from Lego were 28R0s.

LOL...you kill me with posts like this, particularly in a year where post-EOL windfalls have been a dime a dozen.

It was available for much longer than I thought it would have been.  I didn't think it would have been there much past 12am EST.

Even still, I should have ordered more.

It says "Temporarily out of stock", so maybe you will luck out and more will come in stock.

Thanks. May I ask, why are we excited about the Diner at RRP?

Because, I can't seem to plan my purchases well over time and I likely missed when it was on sale in prior years. Now, I buy at the last minute before it is gone and as expected this is not conducive of any great deal at all. I am convincing myself that it is better to have less profit than no profit at all.

Retiring this year & goes oos as quickly as it comes in. The performance of brick bank & detectives office has people high on modulars again.

And for in store purchases > $40 they throw in Creator build your own vehicles polybag 30549.  Both promos run Oct 15-25 so may be available when 1989 Batwing becomes available on Oct 21 (double points ends Oct 20 coincidentally!).

Anyone else getting this message that the beetle cant be shipped to their zip code?

If its out at target then only amazon has left.

Walmart got poofed at $80 yesterday.
