Frustration-free usually is the option to get it shipped in the LEGO shipping box. Standard is where the retail box is shipped within a larger box and there may or not be air pillows or paper with it.

Not strictly a Lego deal persay, but I picked up a bunch of these tip-out bins for parts storage for $1 a piece at Menards (usually $2 there and at Harbor Freight):  https://www.menards.com/main/p-1486970287264.htm 

They fit together to create an array of bins and you can pop the bins out easily. I'm excited to put them into use with my bulk Lego sorting.
