Just to add to this - I ordered one.  I've had mostly good luck with Zavvi and with no tax plus the $30 off it made sense for me.  However, their add says free EXPRESS shipping but in the cart it shows free STANDARD shipping.  I put in a complaint with them about it so we'll see what happens.

Everything that I have ordered, via free standard delivery, from Zavvi has made it from the UK to Alabama, USA in 4-5 days, once shipped.  I would seriously doubt that any "Express" shipping could get it here much faster.  They are always ultra fast.  It's up to you but maybe you should cut them a little slack on wordsmithing their ads.

Be careful of slickdeals communications on Zavvi. I got screwed on a disney castle. It seems zavvi corrected a price after I placed order. Even my order confirmation said $289 with free shipping but the total on the order showed the full retail price. Zavvi hasn't responded to my emails.

While I wasn’t impressed with the box handling, shipping was outstanding for “standard” shipping. I had an item from Zaavi, ordered a day or two after a LEGO Shop at Home order, and it showed up the day before my LEGO Shop at Home order did.

It’s been hit or miss in my experience.  Shipping is fast no doubt but sometimes the boxes come well packaged and pristine and other times banged up.  I ordered a Disney castle recently and it came in the original LEGO package box, just wrapped in black cellophane.  Needless to say the box was all dented and banged up but contents were fine so wasn’t an issue for me.

I received 2 of the $90 Lambos packed the same way.  Cellophaned together and wrapped in black plastic.  Luckily, they arrived in perfect shape.  I guess that it is luck of the draw.

I guess I was lucky. My two $90 Lambos were packaged I’m perfectly fitting boxes and arrived in pristine shape.

Glad I didn't go too deep on the Apollo Rocket or Ship in a Bottle...

"A few days ago, there were rumors of some recently retired LEGO Ideas sets that would be coming back but with different set numbers. The two sets are the NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) and the Ship in a Bottle (21313). Word has it that they were very popular and would be coming back with set numbers 92176 and 92177, respectively.

LEGO has confirm that those two particular sets will be relaunching and have also given a short statement of why they will be doing it. Note that the agreements with the two fan designers will remain the same and they will still get royalties from the sales.

From the LEGO Ideas team:

The two sets are being re-launched due to popular demand, and as they had already left the market, we could not keep the original numbers. The agreements with the Fan Designers remain unchanged.

Also: one of the new set numbers matches a fan designer’s birthday. They were both very involved in the process."

Why would they not be able to keep the same number? They're basically putting it back into production - exactly the same as the first time, right?

Guess I'll crack open the ship in a bottle, that I have and was debating selling or keeping.

It's the catch all for everything. Rather than looking for an appropriate place to post, everything dumps here. As you see above, a topic that is being actively discussed in a few threads gets dumped here as well.

I see...it's to discourage folks from setting up for instant notifications...so the real deals go to the truly committed members.

gotcha!

How about a thread bitching about people posting off-topic while their rant post is actually off-topic as well?

It's common forum etiquette, people don't care.

Harrod's is offering an additional 10% off for Rewards Members (free to sign up) off an already cheaper ($725) 75192 Millennium Falcon. You might want to Rak-up-to-Ten % cash back as well. Saw it on Reddit. Somehow it's scarier for me to order one of these for $700 than to blow a few thousand on clearance Lego at Walmart.

People always ask me if I have one of these anyways, I'll be glad to finally be able to say that of course I do (it's in it's sealed shipping box in the closet, where all expensive Lego belongs).

I ordered another - $682 out the door.  Their shipping and packing is exceptional as I've ordered from them before.  Stocking up on these but I'm running out of room to store them...
