May 1, 20169 yr Here's a deal at Target that should keep both yourself and the missus happy: Several P&G cleaning products are on sale this week (e.g. a 12=18 pack of Bounty towels for $13.99) AND buying 2 nets you a $5 Target GC. Includes Tide, Dawn, Bounty, Swiffer, Cascade, Charmin and a few others. I think it is only with the larger items - but I stocked the pantry and walked away with a significant amount of Target GCs. Not all prices are reflected online, but this one is: http://www.target.com/p/bounty-select-a-size-white-paper-towels-8-giant-rolls/-/A-11240140 Should help with the May 4th deals coming in a few days
May 1, 20169 yr so am I understanding your post correctly Phil ? -When the large boxes start arriving next week at my home I am to tell my wife I ordered tons of paper towels (aka lego) and they were on sale so I also got $5 gift cards (aka stormtrooper figures). I was looking for an excuse and this one actually seems plausible. I just forwarded her the target/towel link.... I am going with it ! pp

Has anyone found the obligatory exclusion of LEGO items from the $10 GC earned for every $50 SW purchase at Target on May the 4th?

What is this, May the 4th deals from 1955? All joking aside, my better half lets me keep all the free promo Target Giftcards we earn from our routine household purchases. I've got about $150 worth saved on my iPhone right now. That's how I know she gets me.

But I never knew things like Bounty towels were so much cheaper at Target compared with Kroger where I usually shop, so this is double saving for me - cheap products that we use every day, plus free coupons to use against LEGO purchases. And I have tons of Target stores closeby, so I just drive out to get these. Quick comparison: Kroger has a sale on the 8=12 giant roll pack - if you buy 4 you pay $13.49 per pack. The same pack at Target is normally $11.99 and now $9.99 during this sale - plus a $5 GC for every 2 packs you buy. Money in the bank 47 minutes ago, Deadfraggle said: Great post Phil. May 1, 20169 yr Funny, I just bought Bounty paper towels, TP, and laundry detergent when picking up an Elves Castle. All on-sale this week at Kmart. Used coupon, points, and discount gift card and got a gas coupon to boot. Also did another transaction for 3 x $19.94 Creator Beach Houses (in-store sale) and used $7 off $50, points and discount gift card and another gas coupon.

May 1, 20169 yr Sounds like KMart - did you get Skyra's for $49.99? Yes, bought online, used points to get it down to $25 and got $5.50 back.

Closest store pickup is a drive to the IN/OH border and need to wait until tomorrow (IIRC) to get some additional points credited (they were timed). Might just go for another SD Lighthouse instead - at least coupons work on that.

The one I picked up tonight is 2 min from work and 7 min from home.

May 2, 20169 yr FYI - The KMart bonus points opportunity posted yesterday appears to be one-time only.

May 2, 20169 yr Fine prints say Points redeemable 5/6/16-5/9/16. Well, that would be cool. I might have a surprise coming to me.
May 2, 20169 yr I was rummaging through some storage today and found this blast from the past. That was a perfect storm. I don't remember how many Targets I drove around to for that. And then that set was shorted at Christmas. Good times
