They have a bunch available at RRP with "frustration-free packaging" so they are probably just pulling from those. There doesn't seem to be any actual difference between the two listings in terms of what you receive.

That's awful. I ordered mine on 07/25/20 and received it on 07/29/20. It boggles my mind how fast I get packages from across the pond from them. Hope you get yours soon. Based on other people's experiences here, contacting them won't yield you much.

Wow I have never seen backorders taken that far out. This will be money at xmas if no more come around. Supposedly on the retirement list too.

I saw that too the other day, but then it switched to will ship in 60 days yesterday.  Now its back to Jan. 3.   Not sure if that will stick

My frustration free packaging for the Diners I ordered all came in the extra cardboard box like the Crocodiles.

does anyone know the damn difference in the packaging? My limited experience with frustration free is usually it being sent in the LEGO shipper. Which is fine by me. Is standard shipping they just slap a label on the LEGO retail box and go? I do not understand the verbiage they use or why they do it this way.

 

Edit: just saw the Diner back for a Sept. 6 shipment date, btw. but under standard packaging. LOL!

Frustration free package, they slap a shipping label on the Lego shipping box. Regular shipping, they do whatever the heck they feel like doing in the shipping department.

Frustration free package = they slapped the shipping label on the Lego box directly and write my address in abbreviation w/ sharpie (happened both with Star Wars Kessel Run and Voltron. luckily the buyers didn't care). Both were during black friday or amazon prime. learned to ALWAYS check gift option and haven't had a problem since

yes, this happened to me too during prime day/black friday promos.

No, never happened to me any other time ordering from Amazon...most of the time frustration-free packaging option resulted in set arriving in LEGO outerbox.

Yes, I always try to remember to mark "gift". 

Diners from AZ came in their single factory cardboard boxes and then inside the standard big Lego shipment AZ box. I ordered 5 and they were shipped 4 in 1 box, 1 in another... the former with 1 tiny sheet of dunnage paper and a WHOLE lot of air. Perfect condition.

Back on topic... Haunted House on SAH, limit 1 + Lambo polybag.

$249 on pre-order, sealed Harry Potter minifig cases (Series II) is the best that I am finding.  Anyone finding any deals on these yet?
