And give their IT intern 3 more servers to maintain?  Savage!

I'm upset that the site is lying to me. It most definitely is NOT an unexpected error.

I got 1 order in.  Credits where its due, LEGO actually paged their lone intern to reboot the website :P

Hallelujah, only a few (30ish) errors before I got a couple orders in. The website response is an improvement from when the Millennium Falcon went on sale for the first time - Barely!

Apparently I have two NES coming my way now.  I actually only wanted one but somehow added two to my cart.  Anyhow the website wouldn't let me go back so I just decided to heck with it and placed the order.

Interestingly Lego now has 180 day return policy due to Covid

Hey the exact same thing happened to me.  I couldn't drop the quantity back down to 1, and so I figured I better just go with it before I missed out.

My NES order seems to have gone through three times because the checkout page kept freezing/breaking when it was processing my payment, so now I have 6 of these coming my way allegedly. Hope I don't get banned for their IT department's incompetence :(

Irony for me was my laptop decided to do a virus scan @ midnight.  After rebooting, because I thought the website had crashed, my virus scan ended only to go into a windows update.   *facepalm*  So frustrating.  After all of that, I was finally able to get one after the same errors as everyone else.

Wonder how long they will remain in stock. I was expecting the Mario stuff to be mass produced but not the NES.

Usually the cancel all of the orders for going over limits and you are locked out from purchasing them for a while.

Reloading the page and/or deleting the item in the bag seemed to clear things up for me.
Had to wade through about 15 minutes of errors though...

Ordered a Grand Piano and an NES tonight!

...

Grand Piano on 60-day backorder.
Already on eBay for $520+...

How much higher by the end of next week?

Crazy. Ebay already has 100+ list of Grand Piano and 600+ NES!

I ordered a piano at 12:02am...got a backorder confirmation earlier this morning.  Nonsense.

I completely missed the Piano. Didn't expect it to go OOS in 30 seconds. On the other hand I can't believe the NES is still in stock, but some of the random Mario expansion sets went to Backorder within half an hour.

Both have to be expensive to ship.

I got this backwards too thinking piano would be around still.  I didn't think that many people would be willing to pay $350 for the piano out of the gate.  Maybe Lego severely under-produced.

Oh crap... Me too.

NES is still available including my local store. Maybe LEGO overproduced the NES and underproduced the piano?

That's insane that it went to backorder that fast. DId they make like a 100 of these or something?

Check your store. They might have some in stock.

Nearest store is over an hour away in Covid infested territory. I'll wait 60 days.

Nintendo back on Lego.com.....personally I will wait until Amazon or Walmart where tax exempt applies
