Zavvi has some interesting sets on sale this weekend

Be cautious since they are not all “sales”.  For example the Poe fighter shows as a sale but is same as RRP in other stores.  If you’re in a state which sales tax is not charged then it’s technically a sale.  None of the other ones struck my fancy so didn’t double check if they are true discounts

Has anyone ever tried to get Amazon to match Zavvi's price?

**Editted**  I tried to tell them about the Transporter and noticed that Amazon no longer has the price match button on their listings, or at least on the LEGO listings that I checked.  Curiouser and curiouser.

Zavvi is a UK site anyway.

Yes, and I've ordered lots of products from Amazon.co.uk and had them shipped to the US.  But if you go to the US/dollars based site, Amazon should price match.

So the London bus is discounted by the discount code for American independence from England?

Back on topic: Target doesn't have any big sales right now, but some 15-20% off sets that people might like (or are probably already buying) that are sold out elsewhere, like 21034 (London Skyline), or some of the small to medium City sets.

I stopped by Target and noticed that the Statue of Liberty was marked at $95.99 on the shelf.  Doesn't show up online so not sure why this was the case or if it's same in other Targets.  FYI, since it's a tad cheaper than Amazon and if you're in the market for it

wait what happened to the cool tile look of the daily deals comparing Amazon, Target, and walmart prices directly w/ % off?

LOL, working on it, trying a few things.  I will get rid of those itemns like mugs/vests and other garbage unless some of you are making big $$$ flipping those items :). I am working on adding Zavvi and Kohls since they seem to be popular lately.  Any other shops online?

Maybe iWoot as well. I know it's not US but you can still buy from them in the US. An I also know that Zavvi and iWoot are owned by the same company. But their deals are separate and I purchase from both pretty regularly now. Just my 2 cents.

I will look and add it.  Never really visited their site.

While we're talking about features.... Not sure if this is easy to code or a pain in the butt. But on the old tracker you had deals bolded that were 30% or more off. That was a really nice way to very quickly scan for the good deals.

pretty awesome, but you're making re-selling too easy...we need to scale this back to DOS or Fortran...maybe in messenger pigeon...otherwise the newbs will take over

I was thinking the same:) We've put in some real hours scanning for our relatively short membership. lets not make it too easy! HA

OH, it does look great though!
