LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Whomping Willow 75953 on target for $55.99 again.

Is this something to stock up on at 20% off?   Just interested in everyone's opinion.

its on amazon as well.

Not sure if anybody else cares but Amazon has been slapping stickers with the # pieces on the Harry Potter sets. Are they bringing them across the pond to sell over here? Do you think it will affect the price?

It's not Amazon, but Lego. Those are sets coming from other parts of the world without piece count info etc. on them. Personally, I doubt the average consumer would even notice.

That's exactly what Lego is doing.

My concern with selling those on amazon is that it only takes a idiot or two to claim fake and poof goes my account . BrickLegacy probably have the same concern I’m told .

I had the exact same concern!

can't that happen anytime considering you don't have wholesale invoices? All it takes is a buyer claiming it's fake and Amazon will request them from you.

I had the exact same concern!

I’ve seen quite a few people question “is this set fake?” in various FB groups. Fortunately there have been people to inform them otherwise, but skeptics exist.

Very true , but these look like a much bigger gamble .

So is the thinking that it would be better to take the stickers off? I haven't had any issues selling EU sets in Amazon before.

To me they look bad with the stickers. Especially when they are not put on evenly or some have been put on towards the bottom of the box which looks weird. There is risk either way selling them on Amazon. 2-3 years from now Covid will hopefully be a distant memory and no one will remember Lego putting weird stickers on the boxes which will make them look even worse. I’m taking mine off.
