June 10, 20205 yr If I could get my hands on several of LEGO Fantastic Beasts Newt's Case of Magical Creatures 75952 @ $39.99 (+tax) each, should I? Officially retired now.... seems like a fun set with the case and all.

Sorry. It's at WM and BBY, cheaper at NFM and Target if you can get it in stock. https://www.nfm.com/lego-fantastic-beasts-newts-case-of-magical-creatures Edited June 10, 20205 yr by baublitz Linky

Of course no payment will be made without seeing product firsthand which is doubtful. I hope you return with both of your kidneys intact. Good luck!

It definitely seems like this set is becoming more frequently available. Amazon had a small restock this morning as well around 7:50am ET, but that's gone now as well. My local LEGO store had 3 sets on the shelf when they opened up this past Saturday and sold out that weekend, but are now showing additional stock for the set as of this morning's online stock checker.

Prices may drop a bit but demand will remain high for a while. The majority of our customers aren’t tracking stock levels of Lego. This should do well Q4. Panic buying will continue, these “restocks” were likely supposed to hit April/May.

June 11, 20205 yr I've been here so long that I can remember back when this thread actually was used to consistently share deals. As currently over 650 people receive email updates each time something is posted in this thread. Perhaps we need a sticky at the top of the thread explaining that this thread is for links to items for purchase, and that there are other threads for discussion such as: Still awaiting your order from a previous deal? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/8838-my-order-status/ Were you able to purchase an item from a posted deal? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/402-what-lego-set-did-you-buy-today/ Are you skeptical about a deal and feel like hearing yourself talk about how it's a poor investment? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/4494-what-lego-set-did-you-not-buy-today/ Wondering if a posted deal is a good purchase? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/15615-what-lego-to-buy-or-sell-general-set-advice-questions-comparisons/ Curious if a posted deal is on the verge of retirement? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/4008-retiring-soon-open-speculation/ Is the investing bubble approaching its tipping point? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/3911-the-speculative-bubble-why-it-could-and-why-it-wont/ Random jabber completely unrelated to a deal? : https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/forum/89-really-non-lego-stuff/ Edited June 11, 20205 yr by brickvoyeur

The majority of our customers aren’t tracking stock levels of Lego. This should do well Q4. Panic buying will continue, these “restocks” were likely supposed to hit April/May. Having bought lots of PS, PC, ToO, under a similar premise, I’m approaching sets like these a bit more cautiously. That being said I wish I had held on to all those sets till now as much of their appreciation was in the last 3 months.
