Any ETA on Mexico? It could be good for online prices if the stores start having empty shelves.
P.S. I don't understand why every restaurant and store in the world won't start doing remote pay...like Venmo or Paypal. Just let me pay from my car and grab the stuff.
PayPal would take 3% fees per transaction, if you hit credit on a normal POS I think the fee from credit cards is like 0.5%, and if you choose debit I don't believe there is any fee at all for the business. Margins are already tight in the restaurant business.

haven't heard yet,  all the stores have good stock of all the big stuff up until they closed.  Just missed the easter gwp's by a few days or those would of least been there.  Still should be some decent opportunities with the stock outs.

after all this you will see more of that going forward.  Great opportunity for them..  The big retailers can get fees cut down for the business and exposure.  The fees on credit cards were killing the stores already before this with the rewards that they get charged for.  That's why a lot of small businesses have gone to debit only and starting to charge on cc fees.  They were passing all points fees onto the business which was crushing some of the small ones.

Also one reason restaurants weren't rushing to open as they put all the time and effort into the curbside formats and setting up online ordering and contactless pay.   That alone had a big cost on them if it wasn't already in place.   Running a restaurant at 25% capacity is going to cost more than just running minimal staff and doing curbside.

Those are some really good points Raven and Walmart has said that it actually takes more employees to do curbside pickup because they have to bag it all up. We've done three of those for groceries and two of them went really well but the other one took a long time with a lot of canceled items. But the nice thing is that those employees don't stand there at the register getting breathed and coughed on.

If retailers can sell products online using PayPal they can figure it out so that everybody gets their back scratched. We have no choice but to start using contactless payment forever.

I haven't been able to get the code to work.

The discount code you entered is invalid or not applicable to the contents of your basket.

strange.  it worked when I went through the link above but not my email.

Yes, same with me.  The email took me to the UK site so I went to the US site and did the search and it worked.  Hence the reason I put the US site link in my post.

regular LEGO stores starting to reopen starting next Saturday.  No GWP's or new merchandise until Mexico is running again or they get stuff from EU was what they are saying.

Where did you get this info?  And I'm assuming it's a localized thing?

Flash sale from Zavvi on the Technic 42098 Transporter

Thanks!  Tax to WA.

Anyone know if the 42093 Technic Corvette ZR1 car will fit on the transporter?  EDIT - Found some YT video that shows it will fit, along with VW Bus, VW Bug, Mini Cooper, etc.  I'll use this to store by built cars on my desk!

Ha, watched the video and figured I'd buy more too.  Poof! on the coupon

Placed a Star Wars order on Shop @ Home this morning.  The Trolls polybag seems to have opened up for any purchased items.  Triple dipped (May 4th Promo, Trolls polybag, Mother's day frame) plus double VIP.  Was enough to get me to bite.  YMMV

Next Staples.com coupon:

$15 off your online order of $60 or more.

Coupon code: 98750. Online only, not applicable in retail stores. Ends 5/8/20. Excludes technology/PCs.

Of course this coupon wasn't there yesterday when I place a $70 order ... had a $10 off $50 in my account which I used instead ... bummer ...

Ended up buying the Yoda set.  I feel so dirty buying at msrp but it was a bday gift for my Mom.
