Yes, Zavvi and iwoot are pretty much the same company and they are legit. No extra cost involved, in fact I have never been charged sales tax when purchasing from them... so less cost actually.

I've ordered two sets from them and both arrived just fine.  No other costs (specifically no tax) so in this case the total is exactly $274.99

I ordered the 42099 Crawler and the 42110 Land rover with no issues at a significant discount.

 

does anyone know the promo code for the excavator? that thing is sweet. 

I'm trying to figure it out too.  That is a great discount!

SW Droid Boost Commander is 43% off on Zavvi.  But the code "LEGO25" didn't apply for free shipping and it charged tax for me as well.  Still 43% off is hard to beat.

Looks like the Bugatti code (LEGO25) is hit its max use, but the website still shows as available. They limited to 300 uses.

Yes, Idaho charges state sales tax.  I guess I'll have to report this purchase on my state income tax next year

Side note that I ordered the 4x4 crawler last Friday 4/17.  It arrived just now from the UK via DHL.  No additional shipping, tax, customs, etc.  Well packed and arrived in exactly one week.  Pretty good deal.

I got off to a Rocky start with Zavvi. The very first time I ordered from them, it never arrived. They did refund me, so I figured they were ok. Recently ordered 3 items from them and they all have arrived and in great condition. It takes awhile to get it, but I'm happy with them. For me in AZ, there has never been tax, and I've always used codes to get free shipping, so that's good too!

I've probably ordered from Zavvi and Iwoot a dozen times. Only had an issue once and that was with IWoot. I ordered 2 of the big red cranes and one of the new orange 4 x 4 technic truck. ONe of the red cranes had a open box. ANd one of the items never shipped out. I had to fight hand over fist with them to get anything back. Eventually after something like 3 weeks of communication they offered me 20% off the damaged product. BUt they kept saying it was not damaged. But they gave me 30% off the whole order.  The whole thing was a complete disaster. At one point they wanted to refund me for the entire order even though 2 of the 3 items got shipped to me. I had to tell them I only needed refund on the single order that didn't ship. I could have gotten 2 big sets for free but I'm honest (Damn). Should have taken the free sets for all my hassle. And their method of communicating via this in-website email system they use is stupid because every time you communicate it takes a day or 2 or 3 for a response. So a converstaion you could have in 5 minutes over text ends up taking you 2 weeks. It's stupid. But I'm giving them another chance here since that was my only issue. But it was a massive F-up on many different levels.
