You have to go to your VIP section and spend VIP points to get the code.

It does show in the conf email 

Only had enough points for one...gonna risk it for A-Wing. Hopefully there's at least one functioning Lego plant by then!

Are you guys all ordering in stock only? Or are you backordering? I"m not sure if these would ship on their own and I should get a keychain or something to get this to ship now or what the best option is?

When in doubt, always order a keychain. I've been burned in the past. I learned my lesson: always buy a small item that's in stock (if you're also ordering something that is B/O or preorder).

Accessory sets are a better option for me. I have no use for anymore keychains.

doubt LEGO just "found some in the warehouse" but rather did a second run on these with the 20th anniversary outcry 

I would guess so.  They are currently $120 on Bricklink with very few available.  Expect the price to drop significantly...

 

That's BS to use VIP points to get a code to then have to order something to get the promo... should be able to spend VIP points and get the promo shipped free right then and there.  I already spent money to get the points in the first place.  Lego has more hoops than before.

Lego has significantly decreased the purchasing power of points but that happens with every company and rewards program, over time the value goes down.

same crap they are pulling to enter into the drawing for the crap minifig . 

I had enough points for two of them, was planning to get the busts for personal build anyways. Already listed the promos on eBay, hopefully they ship and I can quick flip them without any hold time. Even if they only sell for a fifth of the current going rate, that’s better than the $20 total in VIP points.
