April 21, 20169 yr I just got a 20% off coupon from toysrus starts April 22 to April 25 on line and in stores friend20 is the online code. I don't know how to copy and paste it here. It excludes red hot items but does NOT exclude Lego Edited April 21, 20169 yr by buidee
April 21, 20169 yr yea, all prices over $200+ seemed to bump up. tried the waste of my time chat for giggles I am going to be more than glad to check on the "LEGO Creator Expert Ferris Wheel 10247" price for you Ives C.: Please be advised that sale prices or promotional items are updated regularly in order to offer a variety for other items too. While the sale of one item is over, another item will start a new sale. Ives C.: We are also going to offer a good deal price on this item by the time of the "Friends and Family" sale time in-store and online. Ives C.: Furthermore, promotional prices may be changed without notice. XXXXXX The item is not a promotional price but this was a price increase above the normal price that was MSRP. The Friends and Family sale now reduces it the previous price Ives C.: I see what you mean, but as previously mentioned, this depends on other items that are put on sale price too. When MSRP is along with the price on the product, it means the price is suggested by the manufacturer and it does not necessarily mean the retailer will use the same price on it. XXXXX but unless I am wrong the price was increased in the past 48 hrs and therefore negates any savings the coupon would have offered. Seems like this was done intentionally Ives C.: We completely see your point, but this item may be updated by the time the sale arrives. At this time, we would suggest that you check back on this item to see the deals available for it.
April 21, 20169 yr Looks like they just just jacked up anything labeled LEGO Exclusive. Big Bang Theory is now at the rock bottom bargain price of $77.99.

In for 5 of each... Using gc , coupon and rewards to bring it down to slightly over mrsp. 8% in rewards should even it out .
April 22, 20169 yr These prices make the TRU in store price of $229.99 on the Slave I look reasonable! (I actually picked up two more today. Came to $173/each after TRUTH, 10%, and local tax).
April 22, 20169 yr LEGO Architecture New York City down to $43.99 at Amazon...27% off OK, so it's only FBA, and it's Sold by Wholesale Fulfillment AZ ...but not until 4/24. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017B19DOY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1461285317&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=lego+new+york&dpPl=1&dpID=51JvqOf6-SL&ref=plSrch/& I apologize for my post of lies!! I think you Photoshopped them into a Kmart aisle. That's a Nexo Knights tag. j/k It'd be more fishy if a LEGO set at Kmart was in the correct spot.

Policy wise, there is nothing wrong. Coupon does not exclude Lego but they also don't want to sell exclusives way below the MSRP (bonded by the contract with LEGO maybe), so they came up with this "brilliant" jack-up idea

There was a reason that coupon was originally a snailmail coupon, and the digital version got yanked from the site within hours of it being posted. Suddenly everyone and their uncle produced the digital/printout version of the coupon and TRU was hurting. They got clever. Kudos to them. I see no difference with companies closing gift card loopholes after finding out the hard way that they can be used for unintended purposes.

April 22, 20169 yr Wow, glad I got my Ghostbusters HQ last week using rewards and discounted gift cards.
April 22, 20169 yr Up at 5am ( which is normal for me ) and the highest priced item on TRU's site is the Classic Batcave... but Out Of Stock. Next is $199 60098 Heavy-Haul Train. Sandcrawler and Slave 1 = "no product found." NOT = "unavailable." Not sure if these will come back, but I thought that was an interesting development in TRU's tactics.

April 22, 20169 yr I don't see how people are finding those. Sandcrawler, Slave 1, etc are all "no product found" on TRU.com for the last 3-4 hours. Doesn't show up on mobile, either. Are you guys using proxys or something to access the website?
