When did Michaels start selling Lego??
As soon as toys r us went out of business Lego started looking for alternative channels.

I can save folks some time - Coupons are exempt. And as mentioned, typically very small sections in store. Online, getting these clearance deals are rare, (As you saw they were sold out instantly) - And the other clearance items are basically MSRP or a few percent off after their mark up. Personally, it's not a great reselling source, but if you're looking for recently retired/hard to find sets, you can find stuff if you're willing to pay close to MSRP.

That being said, thanks for the original post and heads up, I hadn't even seen a deep discount clearance markdown from them before.

Is there a way to see ALL items by availability on LEGO Shop at Home?  I don't want have to pre-select either a theme, interest, age range, etc.  I haven't found a good way to start at the 50,000 foot level and then drill in the way I want to.  The data is there, I can search by a set number and even find retired sets but I haven't found a good way to avoid that forced pre-selection.

Put "Lego" in the search window?  That returns 2227 results for me.

Several of the new Hidden Side and Trolls sets dropped to 20% off at Wal-Mart.  They use to be 20% off right out the gate but it seems they're giving it a month or two before that first drop.  Not a resell deal but for anyone wanting to purchase for personal build.

Just a reminder: Tonight we can start to double dip at lego.com, for those interested.

March 1-15: Free LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) with purchases of $99 or more, while supplies last.
March 9-22: Free LEGO DOTS Mini Frame (30556) with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last.

Dots still not showing up.  Maybe time change screwed with it?

I just found this in the wild, and it's a heck of a pile of bricks for 35 bucks. not sure it's an arm sweep unless you find additional discount, but great for personal use.

MSRP

MSRP is $60 on this set.  I picked one up for the kids and its a good value.  Big box, zillions of a bits.  Maybe not a home run for AFOLs, but, these big 1,500 piece boxes tend to do well if you can get them cheap enough.  $35 ain't bad.

Walmart MSRP. It's been that price at Walmart since it appeared on the site. These were $20 Black Friday is others mentioned.
