Wow!  I went to one Costco after Christmas and all the Lego except the Creative was gone -- all the toys.  It was echoed here as well so I figured that was it.  Last year their toy inventory lingered a bit.

I haven't been to Legoland since they raised prices 10% over RRP a few years ago.  Anyone know how they price Lego nowadays?

I just saw that Lego took Legoland back as well.  Has anything changed?  For a while there I was going twice a week.

So, maybe not a deal, but a surprise (for me) is that the new Jaguar Speed Champions (76898) has launched on LEGO Shop at Home and is only $29.99 (565 parts)?!?!?!?  Seeing as its 35 GBP,  I wonder if this is a launch mistake and the pricing will be corrected.  Snatched one up for personal, but those of you interested, limit is 20...

Yeah, that appears to be actual price here.  Walmart has them for $29.95.

This def seems to be the price everywhere but an anomaly at this price as other comparable sets are $50 in parts including the one from the last wave with the big mini cooper. Maybe Lego is trying out a loss leader to get folks into the theme, or maybe Panasonic Jaguar license is much cheaper.

What's odd is that 76898 MSRP in Europe is £35/EUR 40, with 76899 at £55/EUR 60 ($49.99 here).

anybody got the price per pound? that’s a better metric than price per element.

On Target this is 1.66lbs for $30, the Dodge set 1.1 for $30 the new Lambo set is 1.87 for $50 and the Mini Cooper 2 Car set is $50 for 1.62

At Target, lucky to find UCS MF at 70% MSRP.  Was a online return, still factory sealed.
