I have a philosophical deal question for people. Lego messes up, drops a 30% discount code. Do you place orders just above 100$ to get promo's or place orders of 99 qty to maximize your discount code usage?

both - i started out cautious putting in smaller number quantity to get the promo. first 3 orders were 1x disney minifigure 2 cases which came out to $134 each plus the promo.  then i became bolder and started with the multiples of smaller sets that went over the promo limit just to get some good numbers cooking. the first 3 single quantity orders are in warehouse.  the orders with large multiples all got cancelled.

I called CS so I could get my points back and the lady stated the LL14 code was an old employee discount code that was no longer valid and shouldn't have been leaked.

Lol...sounds like a disgruntled employee who was probably just terminated decided to get a little revenge on their former employer.

Wow, So, TLC that bad?)

Amazon has the $10 off $50 purchase on select LEGO back. Very limited selection, nothing to get super excited about, but a few decent sets -

https://www.amazon.com/gp/promotion/A2P1UTUJF02RRC?ref_=sopp_psp_A2P1UTUJF02RRC

Hulkbuster at 30% off, Benny Space Squad 30% off, a Spider Man 76114 $23, a couple other things at 20-30% off before coupon. Most things I looked at had a max order of 3.

Similarly target has a spend $50 get a $10 gift certificate. All sets seem to apply. Benny set is in there at the $6.99, Hulkbuster at $20.99, Spider Man 76114 for $22.99. Can be bought in larger quantities as well if one of these were something you were hoping for.

So the moral of the story:  LEGO employees get 30% discount!

Maybe I need to apply for PT job.

Has anyone tried LL15 or if that was an older code, maybe LL19?

Yep. I tried a few last night on a whim.

I was thinking the LL maybe stood for Legoland and that 14 might be an employee number from one of those locations and that possibly other employee numbers might work?

I don’t know. Was just a thought and figured it couldn’t hurt to try. But no luck. ?

Midwest Dudes and Dudettes,

The day you all have been waiting for so eagerly has arrived. Your Kroger 50% 1 General Merchandise bonus offer is now active for a maximum discount of $300. Use wisely.

HP Knight bus is 20% off

SW 20th anni pod racer is 20% off

HP Advent calendars are 30% off

Small Ninjago Mech (forgot the name) is on close-out and 20% off

Sale prices may vary by region. Discount doesnt show anywhere (not on app, not on checkout) until you hit Pay Now, where it will prompt if you want it to apply.

This showed up as "live" when I pulled it up initially, but I'm now getting a message that the promotion has ended. Seems odd that it went away that quickly...

Unless things changed since 2016, Lego store employees get 50% off in store only, no online order discounts. But they are limited to spending with discount in the amount of $2500 a year (which means $5000 worth of product). If you befriend an employee who isnt really into Lego, they will have lots of discount to use during the year, and the store will allow them to use their discount for friends and family. Employee has to be present for this and only a manager or assistant can do the transaction.

As far as a PT job there, its a trade off because they pay so lousy you wouldnt have much money to spend on discounted sets ;).

And getting caught reselling is a fireable offense.

According to the LEGO sales reps I have spoken with in big box stores, they get the discounts as well. They don't necessarily know the LEGO store employees, so I wonder if they get the codes for online usage.

I keep it friendly with those sales reps and don't run across them often, so I haven't asked for favors of them yet. Maybe I will be more pointed in my questions next time I see them.

I am friends with a Lego merchandising rep. We met way back in 2010 when I was feeling up Series 1 minifigs in a Toys R Us (this was before the barcode cheat sheet was released online). The Lego merchandising reps only get 30 percent off and have to go to a Lego store to get it. It is possible in areas with no Lego stores that maybe they give the merchandisers an online code. Not sure. They just show their employee ID card to the manager and get the discount. They dont really get any extra perks. But they are often looking for part time people.

So my PAB order got cancelled along with the Disney Series box.  I used $50 in points are those gone now?
