A lengthy, tedious build that ends up being pretty awesome.

It's really great until you realize you missed a gear to raise and lower the tow arm... Going to have to live that way I'm afraid.

Who knows, but I expect it will do well like the others and 30% off is pretty hard to come by.

anyone has built this? Is it great? I have 0 but thinking about picking one up for own build....with my daughter.

We have one and my 5 y.o. daughter loves it. Decently interesting build for adults, tons of playability for kids.

I'm going to be the minority, but this break in Super Duper deals is a nice vacation from hunting 24/7 over the past 45 days.  I slept great last night and part of that is because I wasn't worried about needing to be up into the wee hours of the night or having to check my phone for every piss break during the sleeping hours.

bah, that stuff gets my adrenaline going!

Aren't all the Technic stuff?  I'm still working on the GT3 RS that I started 2 years ago

Can you elaborate others?  I don't know which Advanced model vehicle has done well.  Ferrari is decent though.  Thanks.

Ferrari has done well, but personally I wouldn't buy these at any price unless I knew they were retiring.  The van has been out how many years now?  Time use of money.  A good discount doesn't necessarily make a good purchase.

And to answer your question, the Mini Cooper is doing well if you bought it at discount.

Not according to Lego, or the 'Retiring Soon' blog info on this website.

Isn't mini cooper still below MSRP?

Wasnt MSRP $99?  It's going for $130-$140 on eBay.

New to the site and honest question here:

If you buy a mini cooper at $99.99 plus tax (my state is 8% so lets go with that for this example) equaling $107.98 and then sell it for $150, after eBay fees ($15) and PayPal fees ($4.65) and a shipping cost of probably around $11-$13, that only leaves $9.37-$11-37 in profits. That doesn't seem like very good profits for the amount invested. Of course, if the value goes up another $25 I could see it worth the time, but at $150 it makes me  wonder if there is a better place to sell online where the profits are better? Otherwise I can't see the incentive from $99 to $150.

You know, I have to say, that other than the deals in the early hours of Cyber Monday, Amazon generally had better deals on Lego during Prime Day and in October/November (as part of and separate from the 10 off 50 promotion).
