Being retired Navy, I for one, would love to see UCS sized Navy ship sets. But those are only made by off brands and don't look very good for the most part.

Cobi (made in Poland) actually produces some very nice WW2 fighters/bombers and iconic WW2 battleships -- not UCS size or level of detail, but still quite detailed and to scale (the battleship sets are usually 2000+ pieces). The bricks themselves are very well-made with nice clutch and some unique shapes. Building technique can involve a lot of old-school plate-by-plate layering and instructions can be denser than current Lego. I've made a couple of the WW2 planes and they're certainly good enough for display (not really meant for play). They are priced very reasonably based on set size -- try a P-51 from Amazon for ~$30 if you want to get a feel for the brand.

En masse they are a force to behold at .02 a brick. been stockpiling them for several BF years now to seed a bricklink store....surprisingly I sold a Duplo tower from last year for 50 bucks (buy in at $8).

I bought a bunch last year after the holiday; they clearanced out 100+ of them at $10 each.

Man must have been a good area, would have been dancing a jig with a line of carts....I was on the hunt and only found a lone duplo tower in early January.  Around here these disappear from the stores in about 1 to 2 days....

Hopefully I can actually get those trains from WM to ship.  Maybe AMZ will match?

Train at WM is back up at $89, wonder if they'll ship out the $60 ones or say they were all sold out or cancel orders.

Says "sold and shipped by VIPOUTLET" ... the $65 orders will probably ship out unless you're "blocked"....

Super Heroes
LEGO Super Heroes Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown 76108 Building Kit ... $59.97 [40% off] Dropped 14% on Nov 28 4:31 AM

I like this set quite a bit because it can be used as a corner building or folded up to just show the front facade.  It's also rather easy to eliminate the some of the super heroes theme (leave a sticker off, don't add a spiderweb) and it can fit into many different city settings with little modification.  Combine two of them together for a bigger building, easy to MOC, great all together.

seems like it's back in stock...should i buy?

central perk: Maybe for personal.  Walmart had advertised it would be $47.?? on Dec 1. Since its been in stock at Lego since Tues, that might just happen.
