Wow.  One of my first investment sets and "big" sets we gave as a Christmas gift.

6860 brought me out of the dark ages. My wife picked it up on clearance at Walmart and we gave it to my son as a gift when he was 3 or 4.  I probably built this at least 5 times and we lost Batman and Robin numerous times.  I still have our loose copy and a sealed one for him in cold storage.

    I placed a bunch of orders a couple weeks ago when they had a bunch of sets at 40% off plus Macy's Star Cash (or something like that?) and almost all of mine shipped. Some quantities did get canceled, but most didn't.

    That being said, I had similar results as I did with the Target 50% off sale like a month or so ago... These sets seemingly ship from store stock. So, quality is not the best and packing quality is absolutely terrible. I think I ordered maybe 200 sets total and probably about 10% of them are being returned due to damage. Not ideal, but just something to consider if you're going to order from Macy's.

    It's been mainly high volume building closer to depots that have been getting them.  None of the half dozen warehouses here in the INW have gotten them but numerous Seattle and Western WA warehouses have.
