I am referring to the target gift card deal going on: the 5% off.  There is no physical card, just an email you receive.  I was wondering if that emailed gift card can be used immediately upon receipt of the gift card.

N/M. We are talking about two different things. I can't imagine it wouldn't be ready to use immediately.

Digital gift cards can be used as soon as you receive them. They cannot be used to buy more gift cards. It's not clear how soon the email arrives but my experience has been it is sent immediately after purchase.

Well my plan was a waste.  I bought a 500 gift card for 475. Went to buy a item that was over 500.  I figured I would save get the extra 5% for using the redcard and save on tax.  Apparently it doesn't work that way?  I only get the 5% off the remaining balance of the transaction between the gift card and cost of the item ($2.50).  So instead of saving an additional 5% I am basically charged full tax on the purchase.  Looks like I paid the same no matter if I would have bought the gift card or just used my red card.

When I used gift cards I always used my red card for a small portion of the payment so the %5 would apply. Does that not work anymore? Been a while since I messed around with target gift cards.

The 5% only comes off of what you actually put on your Redcard.

Not a link kinda person but US Capital 75$ Target.com with gift card deal and I believe today is 5% off Target gift cards.

I was eyeing the Capital yesterday and held for a better deal. I bit at this one. But now I have extra gift card balance and another $10 on the way.

Oh great heaven above...the slide into the holiday pit of doom has finally pulled me in. See you all on the other side.

Yeah, the red card just gave me the 5% discount on the remaining balance of $50 so instead of saving 5% on the item which was $550, I only saved 5% on the difference between the gift card and item, so $2.50 (550-500).

they have closed all the giftcard + redcard stacking loopholes as far as i can tell. so 5% giftcard deal is kinda bland this year. good for gifts if you need cards to give...

For whatever reason, I still haven't signed up for Red Card. I actually don't shop too much at Target anymore except for holidays and the occasional bag of string cheese.

Although if it helps any bit, Chase Freedom card is currently running a 5% cash back this quarter on purchases done through Pay Pal. I purchased the Target gift cards through Paypal account linked to my Chase card. Not really sure if the math makes this any better but at least it's something.

Has anyone elses Target account been restricted from the $10 GC deal? Not showing up for me when I'm logged in anymore - guessing because I placed so many single orders already.

So questions about the Amazon Business Account. Considering all the deals and discounts I am tempted to cover my regular account to a Business one - however business prime doesn't come with Prime streaming and I do not want to do that.

Anyone know if it is possible to convert to a business account WITHOUT converting my Prime membership to Business Prime? Or is it an all or nothing situation?

I was under the impression that all Amazon Business members still got free shipping of items over $49USD.

Can anyone shine some more light on this? I'd really appreciate it. I be envious of your cheap cheap US Capital buildings  ☺

You can pick up the Capital at Target for $65 as well with the giftcard deal if you don't have an Amazon Business account.

I keep adding it to my cart, but the $10 off won't show up anymore.  Is there a limit on how many times you can use the $10 off? I think i've used it on 2 or 3 other sets and once on another 76108 a couple days ago.

Same here, price went down to $69 with a $10 coupon, but can't get the coupon to load.
