You’re right.  I just looked and it’s been on the site for an hour.  I just received the notification so that’s why I thought it was just now being posted there.

I agree.  It’s not enough for someone to make posts alerting people to what “they think” are deals.  They also are expected to provide every piece of info under the sun.  If the basics are posted such what the item is, store, and price I can find the rest myself and determine whether it is a deal for me or something I will just pass on.  It’s not that hard.

I can imagine it’s also why some people never bother to post anything or share potential deals with others.  Many people are never appreciative of anything.

The only thing I find annoying are the add to cart for price deals.

With that though, it’s probably the only reason we get some of them though.

I have to say the "put item in the cart to see price" gimmick is BS

This deal couldn’t have happened at a better time... we are in the middle of a move allowing me to put the sets directly in brown moving boxes.  Wife will never know the difference.

Also got mean mugged by Target picker employee when I grabbed the last set of the Police Station... was totally going to grab it.

TL;DR version: Manufacturers set a minimum advertised price. To not piss off the manufacturer and devalue the product (massive automatic price matching, etc) they hide the lower price so it only appears once added to your cart. 

i am all out of shipping bubbles for the first time in years given my dearth of recent orders for lack of deals.  i'm making a bunch of $60-70 orders to load up on bubbles and lego.
i am taking this sale as a proxy on retirement.  hopefully i am not mistaken and staring at these boxes for years.
burning my TP and paper towel gift cards to get those bedrock expeditions down to $48.

Regarding TP GCs, there is (or at least was per this Friday) a nice stack going that gives you $35 in GCs for 6 packs of TP/Paper Towels ... $10 for each 3 and $15 for orders over $75.

It slows down my search, which makes it BS.  Especially when the Tgt "sale" price is not the lowest
