LEGO Shop at Home has added Merlock's Library 2.0 and Infernox Captures the Queen to the sales and deals page, $5 off each. I'm not sure when they were discounted, but pretty meh.

This went to full price and is now at 16% off...

I've been watching this one too. 20 Minutes ago it was 16% off, and as I submit this now, it's back to full price (and no longer has #1 Best Seller tag). Edit: Now it's back to 16%

What a rollercoaster! 30%, 0%, 15%, 0%, 16%, 0% all within the span of about a week.

This is the Daily Deals thread. Get out of here with your non-deal. ;)

How about this: Lego Education Large Building Plates 4570274 - currently 20% off at Amazon ($27.96). This is about the only way to get a large "true" green building plate any more. The blue and green plates are 32 x 32 studs and the grey 48 x 48 I believe. I purchased 2 packs in January for my wife's Serious Play consultancy. They're big and a pretty decent deal for builders.

Are these the same lego base plates offered at Shop.Lego? ty

I believe the grey is, but the green is a "true" green--not the bright "classic" that's offered now. Blue is also not available at this time. These ship in a simple brown cardboard box, but they are official Lego product.

Yes we talked about this on this forum a while back. This pack is the _ONLY_ way to get Blue Baseplates currently directly from LEGO, as the retail version is retired and there is no replacement (unless you call the tan baseplate a replacement of the blue one). Didn't know the green is also unique as in that it has a different shade than the retail version.

'15%, 0%, 16%, 0%' implies this set did not sell very well or am I over interpret it?

I know this isnt the right place to ask this but cant find a thread that talks about it so any direction would be great. I'm looking for any methods of cleaning/polishing used clear plastic bricks. I recently purchased a ton of used lego and want to clean up the clear ones.

Thanx for any help

As far as I'm aware these past few weeks are the first time they've been put significantly on sale at Amazon (other than a dollar or two here and there). In the USA, Birds has always been a decent seller, but retailers have always had the stock to match decent sales (no supply issues like in Europe).

They've hit the #1 best seller mark a few times (hit it very quickly when it was 30% off), so I'd assume sales are decent off of that too. The fact that they're not on a constant state of on sale (like exo suit) makes me think it's a strong mover. This is all speculation of course - I have no idea how much stock they might be holding, but other retailers being sold out (and Amazon matching their selling-out sales) may signify a near end of life. Once retired officially by Lego, I see other retailer's sales as a sign of wanting to liquefy the rest of their stock and use the space for something else.

Again, pure speculation. They could have enough stock to last them through the holiday season. Who knows!

That is interesting, I know my local store has been out of Mr. Freeze.

I scooped up my Mr. Freeze up on ebay for $16. I didn't feel like dropping $75 to get him considering there is nothing I must have right now besides Mr. Freeze himself, for the Batcave I will be buying later on down the road. I figured I would help somebody out who actually spent the $75. Besides what are they really gaining in profit by selling now for on average sale of $17-$19 I mean after fees I would think they are only making a profit of $10-ish. I think the people who are quick flipping Mr. Freeze should be holding not selling. On that note perhaps I should go grab some extra to hold, still plenty on eBay.

It's a Sopwith Camel. Not a SandCrawler.

I bought the NEXO Library for $20 today because I haven't seen it at TRU and had points to burn. My kids really wanted A.Prentice. 20% off will do for me

It wasn't me. I'm actually not an investor.
