It appears they're at Fry's with today's code. The discount appears to get better the more you purchase, but I can't get more than 2 shipped to NY.

Find any set that has  Save $$$ with Promo Code - the code works on those.

Kohls.com has quite a few sets on sale, some approaching 30% off.  I had some Kohl's Cash to burn and they were offering me an extra $5 for some reason. I chose store pickup and got more Kohl's Cash back to boot.

Ended up going 50+ deep - just had a rep from the local store calling to confirm I still wanted it since it will take 2-4 weeks - so they can place the order with supplier (assuming Lego). got a confirmation email that it will be ready for pick up on 8/12.

Went 20 deep and had order confirmed via phone then cancelled within another hour or so.

I always have bad luck from BB with sets getting shipped in mailers and arriving damaged.

I've never ordered more than 5 of anything from LEGO Shop at Home to find this out, I didn't realize they limit per account for LIFE.  Good to know.

That’s actually not true. Been testing this, it resets just not sure when.

Hmm ... my experience is that the notification on adding items to your cart expires, but when you place an order it will get cancelled several hours later with the following message (E6). Reading it back I do see that they say that limits are reviewed and changed regularly, so my earlier statement about it being "for LIFE" is indeed not correct:

Dear xxxxx, 

We’re really sorry, but your recent LEGO® Shop order Txxxxxxxx has been cancelled because it went above our purchase limits for the following items: 

40170 LEGO® City Build My City Acc.., 40307 Castle Interior Kit 

We sometimes put limits on popular sets so as many LEGO fans as possible can get their hands on them. Although you won’t be able to buy those sets right now,

EDIT: BTW ... this was in April, and several months after my first batch of Castle Accessory Sets for $2.49, so to my original point - these have been on sale for 75% off for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time (since the beginning of 2019).

It used to be one month not all that long ago. For the castle accessories and such, it seemed to be 6 months, as I was able to order another batch 6 mons later.

Maybe its different depending on the sets themselves. But I can verify that 6 months after ordering 5 and having orders cancelled before 6 months, I was able to order another batch of 5.

 

It's been 3 months since I purchased my limits on the accessory sets... And I placed new orders last week that arrived yesterday with no problem... for what its worth....
