I'm not saying that you can lose by buying the set but it's a pretty large box and I just can't see it getting back up to MSRP

What was the typical hold time on these for you?

60198 is still an Amazon exclusive, correct? Will it open up to other outlets soon - or will it be more like a short lifespan on this, since it is relatively new for a train. debating if this is a good investment or will be a long hold.

I personally only bought a couple 60198 because I feel like it’s still gonna be around for awhile. If you can afford to, maybe buy one or two whenever they go on sale for a price you’re willing to buy in at, and build up a little pile. Iwoot had it on sale as well a few weeks back.

Come on, stop spilling the secrets that are obvious.

the only reason I just bought one white MF (great buy-in) is the market is flooded with these...so altho I don't doubt these will mature eventually...but I gotta think it will be a good 2-3 years hold just to cover fees and a decent return....and could easily be more like 3-5 years.  That's a long hold, imo

Just wait until you factor in the annual growing expense to ship items that large.  I would be more scared of USPS than the market.

It will def hit MSRP.  I’m thinking much sooner than later.

Walmart just chopped a bunch of rollbacks even deeper.... a lot of options now 40-50% off.

Any highlights?  I didn't see anything with a quick search.
