I'm not selling AA until it hits $500 so you know it's not me.

So that means you're never selling yours then. :)

I already used one bubble reference today, I'll let this one slip .

Edit : unmmm actually 2

The AA reference made me ask this question. For someone new to collecting how do you go about getting retired sets? Do you just dish out the money or do you try and wait for a "deal" to pop up. It seems like the longer you wait the more it's going to cost.

If a set is retired , the sooner the better .

Except for Exo Suit. 3's a charm, right BA?

Wow. There are 290 people selling exo suits on amazon.  Thats a huge number for an item.

That's nothing . Santa Workshop had over 420 sellers and many argued that it would still be a hot item for Christmas . :santaclaus:went from :money: to

there is about 5X more inventory in the wild. i believe someone in brick link posted that they have about 100 copies or so and want to sell them at $28 :D

if anyone is desperate that they missed the boat they can still find them at a decent discount ;)

Staples has a $10 off $30 in shipping supplies coupon.  It seems that they've done away with the 40% off deal, haven't seen one lately :(

Apologies if this is posted in the incorrect location.

The Pease/Portsmouth, NH TRU (near the B&N) had two UCS Slave Ships in excellent condition this afternoon. I bought one but left the other. It was $229.99, but the cashier price matched it to $199.99 on Lego SaH. No tax, so if you're in the area it's a nice find!

Cheers.

You didn't use 20% off coupon + 10% CC + discounted GCs!?!?!?!?!!? Why didn't you?!

:phew:  (this is me running around crazily with this face)

Cue the "what coupon?"

Sheesh - I just wanted to let folks know they could get one there. I had no TRU credit card nor gift cards.

By "Slave Ships" do you mean "Slave 1"?  if so, why are they charging $229.99?  Regular price on the TRU website is $199.99.

How do you use the CC and GC's in the same transaction?

Not anymore, I noticed the change on Monday of this week.  I assume because of the coupon.

Yes, UCS Slave I. The store is often at, or above retail. Sometimes they price match (depends on the cashier's tenure, evidently, although it shouldn't).
