Huh, weird. I could have sworn a couple of these had been sitting out there, but it  showed up for me as a new link on the B&N homepage. And the Google inventory tracker is showing some stock for me.

This is a legit deal. Some of this is in stock. Not sure why this guy is mad, but I see like 5 items in stock for shipping even....

No one is debating that these sets are really on sale. The fact is that the decent sets have been cleared out. There is a reason that the remaining sets have lasted months at B&N at 50% off. You're on a reseller forum...look at the aftermarket sales and sale prices for the sets that are still available. Be my guest and go deep on the sets still available though.

Not everyone here is a reseller. Its a deals forum. That ninjago set is not horrible for 5 bucks even if you are a reseller, as someone who moves hundereds of K lego $ a year I would not instantly pass on that set at 50% off. Either way, I appreciate the post, sorry you didn't, I would rather he post it than be dissuaded.

If my math is correct 60195 Arctic Exploration Base comes out to 42% off after sale, extra 10%, and conversion rate. Not too shabby for the largest set in the sub-theme which also includes the wooly mammoth.

Good catch! I haven’t seen very many of those around either. The Woolly Mammoth is a $30.00 figure by itself.

It looks like the extra 10% gets capped though. When I add two or more to the cart it maxes at $10, when it should be more than that. Multiple single orders are the way to go if you want to maximize the sale on more than one set.

Not to say you’re wrong - and maybe my math is off - but when I did the calculations I got this:

£67.99 = $86.18 - 10% (8.19) = $77.56

$77.56/$120 = 64.6% or 35.4% savings pre-conversion

And that’s before paying the conversion rate. Again, please let me know if I’m wrong as the few seems too good to pass up.

I've got one in my cart and it's showing a total of 61.19 euros after the sale and extra 10% off.

61.19 x 1.14 (current euro to dollar rate) = $69.76.

$69.76 / $119.99 (msrp) = .58

100 - 58 = 42% off.

That's how I figured the math. I haven't bought one yet. Can anyone else confirm the math? It never was my best subject.

I was having the same problem when trying to buy 2 trains. The heartlake Resort for $80.00 isn’t bad either

It lets you switch the currencies under your settings. Otherwise I usually just google it when buying overseas ?

We have come to the final days of the sales period for the AFOL Designer Program by June 30th. After the program is over, AFOL Designer sets will be added to BrickLink catalog and will be considered as limited-edition sets. As a trusted seller on BrickLink, we wanted to share with you a business-to-business opportunity to sell AFOL Designer Sets to your customers.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please visit the wholesale store and place orders by June 30th.

The minimum buy is $3,000 USD and all lots will be listed with at least 10x bulk quantity. Please feel free to reply to me if you have any questions or concerns.

15-20% discount off 10. Higher discounts if you buy 100. They are speaking the reseller language by saying they will enter the catalog as limited edition sets.

Let's see if they hit fire sale prices the 30th as they try to dump the stock.

Wrong rate.  You need to use 1.27 for Poundsterling, bringing the total to $77.53 (per Google) / 35% off

That would explain it then. I looked it up and got 1.14. Must have been an old rate.

I always sort by special offers instead of typing the set name in. This way instead of having to scroll around, you see the deals right away.

The email about the new droids set from LEGO says double points starting tomorrow - and based on the “build your wishlist” comment I’m guessing it’s across the board. Also, saw in store yesterday that Christmas in July will be back with a return of the Christmas Gift Box. I think it indicated it was around the 12th but I could be wrong. Would be nice if the two overlapped.
