Sucks that the concorde  is online only.

They always cancel my orders citing verification issues. Placed one order last year after a gap of 3 years and still got canned.

Doesn't look like amazon wants to match.

Were you using discount gift cards back then? I had a similar thing happen as well as for going over the limit prior to them implementing a hard stop at checkout.

Never ever used gift cards.

Haven't been to a B&M location in more than a year. But BN will gladly auto renew their membership, which uses the same credit card I use to make the purchase. They have no verification issues for that.

Not sure talking to someone would help.

I've been banned for probably about 10 years now.  When I called at the time the CS guy said it was a gift card issue.  Said I could try talking to upper management but I never tried.  About three years ago I opened a new account with a new shipping address and new credit card with different billing address and I'm still auto cancelled.  I can buy in store no problem but nothing online.

Same here. No problem in store. had to do the run around all over to load up on Sesame St

I got banned for those Raise GCs years ago and for going over the "limit" even though at that time no limit was listed on all of the sets. I had to call in each order and get it approved manually by a second level rep and I was limited to 2 per set. I don't think I have made a BN online purchase in the past 4 years.

Several managers i've talked to at various locations told me using them frequently will eventually get u banned online...Not sure about in store

I know Jim has talked about it a lot on his channel...Feel free to chime in if needed Jim if you happen to see this....I'm curious how it works and wonder again if it's worth the hassle or not

I don't used them anymore online.  Not worth the risk.  Big issue too is that the retailers are very reluctant to even tell you if there is a gift card issue.  They just ban you and tell you to go in store.  I really had to press B&N to get an explanation and even then it was very guarded.  Had it happen at a department store and they never to this day would tell me why my orders were being cancelled.

Jim from Wolf of Bricks though is using the cards either directly with a sales rep or in-store. I can attest it is not worth getting banned and dealing with grumpy fraud department people who treat you like a criminal just to shave off 10%. I was banned years ago, then let back in after discussing with fraud but couldn't use gift cards, then after the rewards got revamped I tried again with a legit card I got personally and it went through. I would say if you are using gift cards on there don't buy them from raise or any gift card center, only from legit sources like Kroger / Fred Meyers or from Barnes themselves when they run specials.

Thanks for the advice...I know from time to time Meijer will run specials on gift cards as well....I figured it wasn't worth the hassle....Again thanks for the heads up

The best way to approach the Target ones is to look at an older order and then state that you wish to buy again.  I find that works when searching for the set doesn't.  Thanks for the Amazon tip.  My personal Amazon account limited me to 3.  But when I switched to my business account, I was able to order 7 (sorry, I didn't see how high that I could push it.)

Sry if this is the wrong spot to post this, but has the Darth Vader helmet (75304) ever been more on sale than the 20% it normally is?  I think it was supposed to retire this year but maybe pushed back to next year (maybe?).  Either way have been waiting to pick this up at a deeper discount and not sure if I may have missed something already or if there's something better out there?

Boscov's had them for $51, but that's the lowest I've seen.

Walgreens had them for 50% off, but that was like 2 years ago and kind of a fluke. I sold all of mine already that I got at that price.
