I think we need to realize who the core base customers are for Lego in the USA and especially in the aftermarket and what sets will most likely appeal to them. Soccer stadiums have nothing to do with politics or racism that I am aware of but I avoid them because of the decreased segment of potential customers just like MK and the “agenda” sets like 76215 and 40516 (I have built this and proudly display it in my office) this does not make me a bad person just smart with my money.

Don't forget one of the OG "agenda" sets, Women of Nasa, just looked that up and I'm not sure you could call that an investment winner. 

I think these sets sell as well as a 4th of July set would sell elsewhere in the world.

It must be targeted because, even after placing two seperate orders for it, 20% is still showing for me.  I bought one of these when it was $50 right after Christmas.  Maybe the 20% is my reward from Amazon.  :::shrug:::

My experience with EE isn't great with their restocking (this was from years ago), has anyone actually tried more recently with success? I dont think theyre inventory expectations are so accurate.

They usually cancel retired items after a long wait.

Agree with everyone else.  A number of times, I've placed preorders and backorders just to wait MONTHS to receive a cancellation email.  Very infuriating especially when items sellout elsewhere while thinking you have an order coming.
