21318 Treehouse is back in stock @ Amazon,  not sure how long it will last.  Finally got one for personal after trying since end of Feb.

Poof!

Taj Mahal and Diner up on LEGO.com!

So, are people thinking the Great Hall is a good investment, why getting it at even at or close to MSRP is good?

Also, is there some advantage to buying it from Amazon as opposed to say Walmart?

I grabbed 3... the current line of HP sets are likely going to retire soon or at least in the next year. If we see an influx of stock before the holidays then oh well... I will at least likely make a few bucks. If they are gone sooner it will be a great return. I'm trying to get a handful of each HP set... normally I wouldn't pay MSRP but Great Hall is an exception. I've been able to snag Quidditch and Beaux Carriage at considerably less buy-in. Hagrid's Hut and Hogwart's Express are about 20% off retail at Target most of the time, so that price has been good enough for me "just in case". The train has been a good QFLL for me.

Also, there is FOMO going on. I wouldn't normally buy some of the bigger sets like the Castles or Modulars but with the way inventory has been... it could be a nice return later in the year.

There is an advantage to some who are tax exempt and get 5% back on top of it.

thanks; in for 2

I thought that when a set was re-released the original plummeted in value, is that not the case?

Thanks I got one for personal use.

I had ordered one a couple weeks ago from LEGO Shop at Home because it was "available", then upon purchasing it magically became "backordered" and still has no date. I'm cancelling the LEGO Shop at Home order.

It looks like July 2 is the new magic date for everything now - that's a good sign that product is expected from the Mexico factory. Perhaps including the Haunted House I ordered day one...

Given that its a groul of models, if their gencyd does not care wherher elife.

That's exactly what I thought. Their gencyd just doesn't care!

Autocorrect, huh?  Do we want to know where you work?

From the interesting letter combinations, some Scandinavian country.  I’ll take IKEA Employee for $400, Alek.

I could tell you... but where's the fun in that?

Hmmm:

groul - "Nasty, overproduced fizzy yellow beers that the masses buy with little to no regard for the fact that they are terrible."

gencyd - "cognitive impairment without dementia (GENCyD-SEN criteria)"

This could be fun a game to play ....

'those that have a high gencyd score prefer groul' ... I'm guessing buzzfeed. 😉

(and, apologies for the continued thread de-rail on the sacred daily deals page)

Well I'm in it for the long haul, I am looking for that Assembly Square and I can feel in my bones tonight's the night.

Thanks!  In for a couple.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but 10262 -- James Bond Car is on backorder as well.  I've been watching that one for awhile and I last saw in stock at Target 19 days ago.

What's the outlook for 75274?

If only there was an appropriate forum in which to ask this question......

Sorry I meant in terms of it going on sale or there being a discount on it.
