No you do not get 5% with redcard, best deal is to use your favorite cash back credit card to buy the gift cards.

This is a big deal in that the last few times stores literally went out of stock on the plastic cards (be sure to get the designs you want days before the sale and activate later).

For folks w/ Redcard experience, if we use our Redcard, I'm thinking we don't get the additional 5%. right?  Also tracking wise the $300 cap would be a hard cap.

I agree for 11 months of the year, but with all the Christmas buyers out now and post-BF/CM hype lots of these deals are popping up intermittently and going poof fast. I've been able to purchase more than a few sets lately bc of posts like this that I otherwise would have missed.

 

It works until *** Christmas wish ahead *** we get that BP app that allows us to set up a push notification for a price drop on any Ninjago set with RRP over 49.99 that is on sale for 50% off on Amazon.

If you are enrolled in the Chase Rewards, they do 5% cash back on select areas each quarter. From Oct to Dec it's for these:

 

 

Ironic sidenote: Department Stores category does not include Target. But if you link your card to Paypal and purchase through Target online, it does work. Go figure.
