Oh wow LEGO at Gamestop.  Gamestop stores look more and more like little TRU

 I looked for a better thread to post this....oh ...maybe the retiring soon tread, but anyway , I just wanted to mention destiny's bounty says sold out at SaH. It may flicker for a while but they don't usually come back too long after that notice.   Am i right on that?   the movie has been out for couple years now.

It seems like every other order I've placed an order with B&N just ends up being cancelled by them within 30 minutes.. and I have no idea why.

If B&N has ever had an issue w/ you for any creditcard payments you get on "The List" and can't even use another CC, email address, or login either.

Got a Barnes and Noble mailer today saying members get increased to 20% off from 16th - 19th. Mailer does say it excludes Lego though.

However I can’t remember if this is the one where there has been success in the past? I thought I remember this working on Lego before but maybe I’m getting confused with another promotion like the BOGO 50%.

I’m still going to try tomorrow.

We discuss this every time they run the promo. YMMV. It's usually sub-$100 sets with some exceptions like 75188. And will usually stack with any other discount that's running like clearance or 30% off themes (e.g. IIRC, Kylo Ren's Tie Fighters were 30% off + 20% off a couple weeks after release in '17.)

I've never bought from Fry's. How is their shipping? Are they like Kmart and Kohls where I can expect pancakes? Any horror stories out there? I wouldn't mind grabbing a few more City Hospitals. To my knowledge that set has yet to see a discount other than the 50% in store clearance at Kohls.

Not even Cali - closest Fry's to me is 25 miles away...they won't ship to me either.

Bad experience with Fry’s shipping. Shipment came in a beat up box that had been taped together. Items were missing, boxes were torn and dented. Took over 1 month to get money back. Worst experience ever with customer service. 

I did Fry's same day delivery and the box of the item was crushed.

Am I missing something or are there more than 5 sets at 20% off?

I only saw marvel sets and some Lego movie 2

I tried to place an order online with free same-day local delivery and it said I could order 49 sets. Then it got kicked back.  I called and asked what they actually have in stock. 4 sets total. And I have to pick them up in-store. Woo hoo!
