What are thoughts on if this is a good price for investment? It seems a little steep still, but I know that it seems to be a pretty popular set and not sure how much lower we can expect to see it.

But doing it that way aren't you paying the sales tax on the higher price?

What they should do is take the discounted price x .95 (red card savings) then figure that price for sales tax. Then refund the difference of what you actually paid to a gift card... my difference with sales tax included would be $55.81...

I used gift cards to purchase, so they refunded back on gift cards.

If you used credit, they’ll refund to your CC.

Glad I didn't buy Gray baseplates at Target.

Tried twice to get a price match from customer service for an order where I got a $10 gift card. Both times they insisted that with the gift card & my red card 5% discount their price was cheaper than Walmart (they ignored Amazons price because it was for prime only). So I put together a new order exactly the same in my cart, asked for the price match and they said okay on the third call. Then asked did this make more sense, with me having to refuse the first order? They agreed then and price matched the first order. You'd think it was coming out of their own pockets.

We need Target to price match the 60223 Combine Harvester to Amazon's $23.99. It's normally $29.99, but City vehicle sets in that price range don't typically go lower than the $23.99 price point, unless it's on deep clearance. This set qualifies for the $10 gift card promo, so an order of two harvesters and a Benny's Space Squad to get over the $50 threshold would be a great buy in my opinion. Come on guys! Work your magic and submit those price matches at Target!
