Take a look at Space Needle 21003, maybe you'll change your mind.

Are you trying to point out that they're not even going to go up in value after they retire? I see 21003 regularly available on ebay for $40-$50 including shipping. That must have been RRP, right?

It was $20

RRP was $19.99. Eiffel Tower probably a lot more popular than the Space Needle, but I only own the Space Needle.

Space needle is $70-75 on amazon with prime delivery currently. Nearly 400% increase.

real solid. Real solid

ET will do relatively well , but you all are comparing different times. ET is way more hoarded than Space Needle . Thats like comparing FB to PS

Correct. I expect these to go for $75 or so in 2-3 years. Around double MSRP, 200%. That’s my conservative guess.

Now the question is WHEN ET will retire...

Ah, I didn't realize RRP was only $20 on Space Needle. And the way I understand it is that since I'm not grandfathered into the ability to sell Lego on Amazon, that's not an option for me. So, I'm looking at ebay prices.

I've been selling on ebay for many years, but never got into Amazon. Now that I want to get into Amazon, I understand it's impossible. That's why I'm looking at ebay prices for my personal way to liquidate.

If only 40262 were available on Google express so I could use a discount code...

$10 is regular retail on 40262 guys. Don't let Walmart pull one over on you like a politician.

Walmart was selling 40262 for $4.99 several weeks ago. 30360 & 30547 were being sold for $4.99 as well. All available from GE for a short time. WM has raised the price on all these sets significantly the past few weeks.

Disregard my remarks regarding 40262, I was thinking of 30543

walmart too

I had ordered a couple from Walmart on GE to see how this giveaway goes. If I get the $10 off 35 (the reward most people get), that isn't too bad.

Needle looks nice, ET still looks fugly.  :)

Just got an email from B&N that the Bricktober minifigure set will be available only on 11/17 and free with a $75 LEGO purchase.

also depends on your market.  lots of rich nerds up in seattle that are amazon junkies.  but then again the ET is iconic everywhere so....

Can go into a b&n store and have them order it for you and get the 10% off for in store orders?

My B and N just ordered for me. They had one in store but ordered 4 more. Hope it works

I ordered 3, and the manager said I could get a Kessel Mine worker if there are still some left when I pick up my order.

Now that's got me thinking: can I go to B&N, order 8, and pick them up and pay on November 17th...
