Just a quick warning the Ferrari F40 may come in a damaged box. When I got mine, amazon hadn’t used any packing and the box was completely destroyed when it got to me

I was thinking of getting some baseplates for displays.  I would think it would make them look much better and give places to actually place minifigs without them falling over.

Well..I'll give it a shot here. If you sell on amazon not a bad way to build some metrics. Easy to ship off to FBA... remember that members on here sell on different platforms. Don't allow your buying decisions to be swayed by casual mentions on here of what people are buying.
