Meant to post that as well. Most of the one's I saw had normal stickers under items.

the new Tie Striker was $54, U wing $63, not bad if you don't want to wait on shipping. Other things like the super hero micro fighters are $7 and some of the series 3 star wars micros are $7 as well

The U wing was $40 at one of the local walmarts here. All others were $63 still.

Yeah those prices are in CA walmarts as well. It's tough to sell Rogue One sets when the movie comes out a week before Christmas. Also noticed the new Batcave for $88 and Joker Lowrider for $45.

How many of those Pirate Chess sets did Lego make?   it seems like they've been on sale forever.   
I remember on black Friday, The Lego stores had them at 50% off and not many takers.

For what it's worth, when I was at Legoland Florida, and Downtown Disney LEGO store, they had TONS of these. They had them for sale at all sorts of weird unrelated gift shops throughout LEGOLAND. I strongly suspect this is a very poor seller and they have a metric ton of them.

To be honest, it's a banal set.  No license.  Based after a generic pirate retread theme.  Should have licensed a theme to back it up.  Pirates of the Caribbean Lego Chess or Lord of the Rings Lego Chess.

While I agree that LotR has been crummy for resellers, it would make for a cool Lego Chess set.
