You're not going to get rich, but I think it's a nice set. We always build a city at our house so sets like this 50% off are a must buy. Train sets have historically done well but with the quick refresh from the previous version to the current version, I'm wary to go in too deep. A seller can always break them down as well and they seem to sell well as individual cars.

That's about the same price that B&N blew them out at a couple of months ago, and everyone seemed excited to get them at that price. I'm with you though. It still seems overpriced for what you get. I compare it to 8404 Public Transport Station, which I did fairly well with, but I also got them for around $70 each. I'm tempted to get a few of these because of the discount, but there are other sets that I can spend $180 on that aren't as big of a gamble.
