Is Lego going out of business? Seriously. 40-50% discount is the norm these days.

Black Friday/cyber Monday is literally happening now folks. I doubt anything better than these sales come one week from now.

Got a link to the deal offer? I'm seeing the discount applied upon checkout (60052/60097 specifically), but unable to find the generic deal ad page...

IMHO there's some LEGO fatigue hitting the market currently. I'm not addressing the secondary market/reseller aspect either.

I honestly believe that in some ways, TLG's push to bring a bazillion products to market and their insistence on keeping the same products on the shelves for an indefinite life-cycle is diluting the product as a whole.

Personally, I'd like to see TLG scale back the number of lines, decrease the range of available sets in a few lines, shorten the life-cycle of many sets, and generally reduce their retail footprint in many brick and mortar stores.

I will assume that none of that is actually going to happen so we will continue to see more aggressive pricing to move product that is stagnating on retailers shelves and lingering in their warehouses:

All I can find is this language in the products that qualify.

Special Offers and Product Promotions

  • Buy 1, Get 1 40% Lego Here's how (restrictions apply)

Roger that - same I was finding (on individual item listings). Looks like we just have to fish around a bit to find which items it applies to - but obviously the ones that already had a 30%+ discount are the prime targets (and it looks like you already pulled a short list of those together).

Some of those ninjago sets are a good deal but I'm still in that mindset where I don't "have" to have them unless their 70% off +

Well snagged a pair of all dragons available.

Wouldn't be surprised come Sunday morning most of the sets for sale will be OOS.

Target sales end in 30 minutes, so if any of these prices are a result of price matching target, probably better pull the trigger on anything you want.

So I guess I missed whatever it is you guys were talking about.

Nevermind, just understood now what is going on.

Needed more coffee before reading the thread

Put two lego sets from the list above (there may be others) in your Amazon cart.  On the final page of checkout, before you actually submit, there will be an additional discount.

You will see this language under items that the discount applies to.
