Just curious, what type of prices did you end up with after the 40% off? I may have to start looking at in my local Dirt Cheap stores.

Only the ghost and the super cars catch my eye but if the price is right ide arm sweep, except for the Chima. Haha

Well, I just found out about this chain from this post - then found out we had one open up in town a few weeks ago... Ummmm, scary! There were quite a few LEGO Star Wars sets... however, all trashed and opened boxes (as in you pick the box up and stuff falls out... in fact, even empty boxes.

For sh!ts and grins I took an opened 75103 to the register - get this... priced at $102.99, but reduced to ~$68... um... no thank you! (Especially when I paid ~$40 at Walmart a few months ago in mint condition.)

This is exactly why I rarely step foot in Dirt Cheap. It is so disorganized, making it difficult to find things. Most of the stuff has either been opened, damaged in some way, out of date/expired (when dealing with beauty and grocery items), or simply overpriced even after their 40% off pitch

You may want to buy one pair at a time, because I noticed the calculations are thrown off if you combo multiple items.

Too bad they hadn't matched Amazon on 60097.  That would have been a great deal.

I went ahead and combo'd a the big Volcano Copter and big Volcano Truck w/ $38.40 off those prices it brings those two down to $170. I didn't need more than one each just yet, but my son likes these sets.

If the description says "Item has no cosmetic scratches or blemishes. Item has no cracks or dents. Item will come repackaged." from AWD, does it mean at least the bags are intact? They won't resell an opened-bags-set, right? All the bags are thrown in a brown box? Any experience on this?

I myself have received opened bags from an AWD set and I'm pretty sure many others have as well.  It's a roll of the dice. One instance I received a Classic Batcave with key minifigs missing and none of the vehicles were in there either, bags resealed or missing completely.

$100 Barnes gift cards on eBay for $90.
Not sure about holding these for a long time, but with the monthly limits on Raise these days, it's uncommon to find these above 10% anymore.
